How many times have you signed up for a new exchange, viewed the minimum number of pages to get your sites rotating, and then forgotten all about that exchange until you get an email update reminding you to visit again?

If you want to make the most of traffic exchanges and drive a continuous stream of visitors to your sites then you must visit regularly. Many exchanges will stop rotating your sites if you haven't visited in a while.

`My Surf Sites´ was developed to keep track of every hit exchange that you're a member of. It was originally designed as a personal tracking tool but is now being made available to help all other TE users out there.

How does it work?
To use `My Surf Sites´ all you need to do is enter the relevant information for each of the hit exchanges that you are a member. If you haven't joined any others yet, then click here and choose a few that you like.

Once you've signed up and received your user details you can enter them into the `Add New Traffic Exchange´ form.

Type of traffic exchange
Use the radio button to select what sort of exchange you are listing, either Manual, Auto or an exchange that offers both Manual and Auto.

Your referral link
This is the link the exchange will have given you to promote their service. By doing so, you gain referrals and earn yourself bonus credits and/or cash at the same time! It should have been sent to you when you joined and should also be available from your members area when you log in to the site. Don't forget the http:// - ideally, you should copy and paste the link to avoid syntax errors.

Your Manual/Auto/Login link
This link is optional as most exchanges now require you to log in first before allowing you to view sites. If they provide a link that starts viewing immediately you can enter it here, otherwise `My Surf Sites´ will use your referral link from where there is often a members box to log in. As you usually earn credits for showing your referral page, it's an easy way to earn credits each day before you even start viewing other sites!

Your membership
By default, `My Surf Sites´ assumes you are a free member. If you have paid for membership or if free membership is not available, change the radio button. Your personal T.E.D. pages which you can promote, will list the exchanges that you have paid to join before it lists the free ones although this feature can be changed in the Members Main Area.

Click the `Add´ button and the exchange will be added to your list in the relevant category. Don't worry if you make a mistake as you can easily edit the information by clicking on the name of the exchange. This will open the 'Edit Traffic Exchange' form where you can correct bad links and add additional information such as the number of referrals you have.

Building referrals is a great way to earn free credits and other sign up bonuses offered by traffic exchange owners.

Okay, you've entered all the information - now, let's start clicking!

If you've got a tabbed browser, like Firefox, simply hold down the CTRL key while you click the 'Visit Now' link OR right-click the link and select 'Open Link in New Tab'. Otherwise, just click a link as normal and a new window will open. Log in to the exchange, if necessary, and start viewing. Now, return to `My Surf Sites´ and repeat this process for some other exchanges. You can now view all these sites at the same time simply by switching between tabs each time you start a countdown timer.

Once you've opened all the exchanges you'll be visiting, go back to `My Surf Sites´ and refresh the page. You'll notice all the exchanges you've successfully opened are now at the bottom of the list so you can start with a fresh batch of hit exchanges in your next session! Cool, eh?

You can even view your visit history by clicking on the number in visited column. Likewise, information on all T.E.D. clicks to your referral links can be viewed by clicking the number in the T.E.D. hits column.

How do I get referrals?
Almost all exchanges offer incentives if you advertise your referral page and get new members signing up. There are many ways to do this. You can include the referral page in your list of sites, use referral banners and splash pages or create text link ads! By adding your sites to your `My Surf Sites´ console, your referral links will also be randomly rotated in our Traffic Exchange Directory.
